Safety First, Always

At Kingsheath Construction, health and safety is more than a legal requirement; it is our most important value.

We believe that all accidents are preventable and are dedicated to creating a working environment where everyone can go home safe at the end of the day. This commitment underpins every decision we make, from project planning to on-site execution across Kent and the South East.

Our approach is proactive, not reactive. We have established a robust, director-led safety management system that empowers our entire team to prioritise safety. This creates a culture of shared responsibility and continuous improvement, ensuring we not only meet but exceed the highest standards of construction health and safety.

Our Approach to Health & Safety

We implement a multi-layered system to manage risk and promote safe construction practices.

Director-Led Safety Management

Our Health & Safety Director provides hands-on leadership, ensuring that safety is driven from the very top of our business. They oversee all safety policies, conduct regular site inspections and audits, and ensure our management systems remain effective and up-to-date.

Site-Specific Risk Assessments & Method Statements (RAMS)

Before any work begins, our management team produces detailed, site-specific RAMS. This process identifies all potential hazards and establishes clear, safe systems of work to eliminate or control risks effectively. These are living documents, communicated to all site personnel and reviewed regularly.

Continuous Training & Competency

We invest heavily in training to ensure our workforce has the knowledge and skills to work safely. All our operatives hold 100% CSCS cards, and we provide ongoing training in areas such as manual handling, asbestos awareness, working at height, and plant operation to maintain a fully competent team.

Compliance and Accreditations

We operate in strict accordance with all UK Health & Safety legislation, including the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015. Our commitment is validated by our ISO 45001 (Health & Safety) accreditation, demonstrating our adherence to internationally recognised best practices.
