Project Overview:

A comprehensive groundworks and infrastructure project for a leading UK housebuilder. Kingsheath Construction was appointed by Countryside Properties to deliver the full groundworks package for Barnwood Place, a new development of 50 homes in the heart of rural Kent. The project involved a full scope of works, including the installation of a foul pumping station to serve the new community.

Delivering Vital Infrastructure in a Rural Setting

Our team was responsible for executing the entire groundworks phase for this exclusive residential scheme. A key challenge was the installation of critical drainage infrastructure, including a new pumping station, demonstrating our technical expertise in managing complex site services.

Key services delivered on this groundworks project included:

  • Substructures: Construction of high-quality foundations for all 50 residential units, providing a robust start for the building phase.
  • Roads and Sewers: Installation of all private and adoptable roads and sewer networks, all constructed to the precise standards required for local authority adoption.
  • Foul Pumping Station: Construction and commissioning of a new foul water pumping station, a vital piece of infrastructure essential for the development's drainage strategy.
  • Attenuation and External Works: Implementation of a surface water attenuation system and the completion of all hard and soft landscaping, including driveways, footpaths, and garden areas.

This project showcases our ability to deliver high-quality groundworks solutions in sensitive rural locations, making us a trusted partner for developers building communities across Kent.
