Project Overview:

A complex groundworks, infrastructure, and reinforced concrete (RC) frame project for a bespoke developer. Kingsheath Construction was appointed by McCulloch Homes to deliver the complete substructure and superstructure package for Lubbock House, a new three-storey residential building in Orpington. The project involved a challenging scope, including piled foundations, an RC frame, and significant works within the public highway.

Delivering a Full Substructure and Superstructure Solution

Our team was responsible for executing the entire groundworks and RC frame package for this modern apartment building. This project showcases our integrated capabilities, from managing complex public highway interfaces and deep foundations to constructing multi-storey concrete frames.

Key services delivered on this project included:

  • Section 278 & Section 50 Works: We expertly managed and executed all required S278 highway alterations and S50 sewer connection works, ensuring full compliance with local authority and statutory body regulations.
  • Piled Foundations: Construction of specialist piled foundations to provide the necessary support for the multi-storey structure.
  • RC Structure: Formation of a three-storey reinforced concrete (RC) frame, providing the core superstructure for the apartment building.
  • Drainage and External Works: Installation of all private drainage systems and completion of high-quality hard and soft landscaping, including access roads, parking, and communal areas.

This project demonstrates our ability to provide a seamless, single-point solution for complex residential structures, making us a preferred construction partner in Orpington and the wider South East.
