We are proud to announce our appointment by Fernham Homes to deliver a comprehensive groundworks and infrastructure package for their latest residential development in the picturesque village of Yalding.
This £8 million contract sees our team managing the full lifecycle of the site preparation and infrastructure for 112 new homes. Starting with an extensive vegetation and topsoil strip, the project moves into complex Section 278 and Section 50 works to ensure seamless integration with local highways and utility networks.
The scope of work is extensive, ranging from the initial site compound and logistics setup to the final soft landscaping and external finishes. Our technical team is overseeing the installation of robust road and sewer networks, as well as high-capacity attenuation basins designed to manage sustainable drainage for the new community.
Foundation solutions for this site include a mix of reinforced concrete (RC) groundbeams and traditional strip foundations, supported by our expert pile mat installation and attendance This project further strengthens our ongoing partnership with Fernham Homes and reinforces our reputation for delivering high-quality, large-scale residential infrastructure across the South East.
Scope of Works
- Site Preparation: Vegetation and topsoil strip.
- Infrastructure: S278 and S50 works to facilitate site access and utility connections.
- Highways & Drainage: Construction of internal roads, comprehensive sewer systems, and attenuation basins.
- Utilities: Installation of site-wide services and street lighting.
- Foundations: Pile mats and attendance, RC groundbeam foundations, and traditional strip foundations.
- Structural Elements: Sub-structure masonry and floor installations.
- Drainage: Full domestic drainage systems for all 112 units.
- Hard & Soft Landscaping: External works, construction of screen and retaining walls, and final soft landscaping.
- Logistics: Full site compound setup and ongoing site logistics management.
